We are looking for a dedicated Rotor Performance Engineer who can contribute towards the development of our next generation products and technologies.Roles and Responsibilities
Wind turbine performance (AEP) modeling for a wind farm.
Analysis of field data for wind turbine performance validation.
Wind turbine performance (AEP) optimization for a wind farm.
Development of tools and methods to enhance our analysis and validation capabilities.
Must Have Qualifications
Master or Ph.D. in Aerospace/Mechanical engineering with Aerodynamics or Wind Energy
8+ years of experience in the field of wind turbine aerodynamics and related domains.
Excellent knowledge of wake modelling, data analysis and optimization techniques.
Should be able to write and manage complicated codes in Python and/or MATLAB.
Demonstrated ability to drive global technology development projects with complex cross functional interfaces.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team environment.
Nice to Have Qualifications
Fundamental knowledge in Machine learning algorithms and it’s engineering applications.
Experience in CFD (OpenFoam, Ansys).
Experience in turbine loads assessments and control strategies.
