Job description

About Us: We are a reputed boutique social media consulting & training firm, in business since a decade. As part of our commitment to contribute to the nation's GDP growth, we are launching a new course on social media, created by industry experts, in association with a renowned university.Â

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as a Student Services Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their parents, addressing inquiries about the social media course, admission process, and academic requirements.Provide personalized guidance and support to prospective students throughout the enrollment process, including assistance with application submissions, document verification, and fee payments.

- Conduct informative and engaging counseling sessions to help students make informed decisions about their academic journey.

- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure timely communication of course details, schedules, and academic resources to enrolled students.

- Coordinate with university departments to facilitate smooth onboarding of students, including orientation sessions and access to campus facilities.

- Coordinate with potential employers who wish to recruit the students.

- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks related to student records, attendance tracking, and academic assessments.

- Proactively identify and address student concerns or challenges, providing timely solutions and support.

- Conduct follow-up calls to students for fee payment reminders, document submissions, and other administrative requirements.

- Assist in organizing events, workshops, and seminars related to the social media course.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in Marathi and proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.

- 1-5 years of experience as a counselor or advisor at an educational institute, preferably in the higher education sector.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and parents.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing student needs and concerns.

- Proficiency in handling phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication with professionalism and courtesy.

- Sound knowledge of educational counseling principles, admission procedures, and academic requirements.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Communication, or a related field preferred.
