Job Description
You have an instinct for technologies and techniques, and you love trying things out. When given something new, you can grasp it quickly and integrate it with the rest of your knowledge. These are the very characteristics of a great engineer we are looking for!
As a software engineer within the Predict domain of GfKnewron, you'll be part of a squad alongside other enthusiastic engineers, DSs, MLEs and SREs working closely with your Squad Lead, Product Owner and Product Manager.
Designing, developing, and deploying new features as well as improving the existing ones is what delights our customers, and we want you to be part of the journey - at GfK it is all about autonomy, creativity and ownership.

Work closely with product management, business analyst, and UI/UX to define user requirements and translate them into reliable, intuitive features
Architect efficient database schemas for new implementations and contribute to improve existing ones.
Take ownership of technical implementations and architecture together with your team and in alignment with communities of practices.
Help ensure that all development work at all stages follows best practices for ensuring validity, efficiency and maintainability.
Collaborate in a distributed, cross-functional agile team in achieving shared and agreed goals.
Contribute to building new features from initial technical design choices to the released product, impulsing innovative solutions and the most recent technologies.
You have 4+ years of relevant work experience in full-stack development.
You have experience with at least one cloud provider (GC, AWS, Azure).
You have experience with web technologies such as Javascript/Typescript, CSS, HTML.
You have experience with front-end technologies like React and Node.js server frameworks such as Express.js.
You have experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
You have worked on Postgres (or other SQL) and have sound knowledge of SQL queries.
