About The Firm
KROST provides traditional tax and accounting services as well as M&A, Capital Markets Consulting, Wealth Management, Data Analytics, and Tax Specialty Services such as Cost Segregation, R&D Tax Credits, Green Building Tax Incentives, Transfer Pricing, IC-DISC, and more. Recently, KROST has become local experts on PPP Loans and Employee Retention Tax Credits, serving clients who experienced financial hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Essential Functions - Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, non-profits, partnerships, C corps, S corps
- Analyze tax implications for individual/business tax returns
- Responsible for quarterly and year-end tax planning
- Manage tax department
- Scheduling responsibilities for tax team
- Mentor tax staff and seniors
- Collaborate with other departments to make sure firm goals are met as a whole
- Review tax proposals and submit to potential clients
- Participates in business development activity
- Identifies opportunities for the development of new services
- Identify organization or association to network and develop business contacts
- Participate in client visitations
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience - Current and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting
- 8+ years of Public Accounting experience
- Master of Science degree in Taxation or JD highly preferred
- Proficient in Profx, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
