Job Description :The Technical System Administrator (Lead/Manager) is responsible for providing day to day Operational Support and Maintenance to the IT Network and Cyber-security layers.The Manager IT is responsible for the reliability, availability, and security of all corporate infrastructure especially the Networking Infrastructure and security framework. Candidates from Manufacturing backgrounds are preferred.Roles and Responsibilities :1. Networking & Storage & Backup : - Manage the entire Network and Storage Infrastructure of an entire organization.- Design and Install Computer systems, Routers, Switches, LAN, WAN, and Intranet systems.- Monitor the systems, provide maintenance and troubleshoot any problems when they arise.2. Database :- Set up and maintain Databases, also required to integrate Data from an old Database into a new one or even create a Database from scratch.- Responsible for managing Databases, including Server administration.3. Server/Web :- Specialize in maintaining Servers, Web services and OS of the servers.- Monitor the speed of the internet to make sure that everything runs smoothly.- Analyze a Website's traffic patterns and implement changes based on user feedback. 4. Security Systems :- Monitor and maintain the Security systems, develop Organizational Security procedures and also run regular Data checkups - setting up, deleting and maintaining user accounts.- Install and configure Software, Hardware and Network- Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues- Identify system requirements and Install upgrades- Maintains, secure and upgrade a Web system- Create a Storage backup and safeguard the Data- Perform account setup for new and old employees- Track emerging technologies and implement them for OrganizationSkills & Experience :- Certifications and Specializations - MCSE, CCNP, similar- Networking, Storage (Qnap / Synology), Database, Nutanix, Virtualization, Cloud and Cyber-Security Certifications, ITIL, VAPT (Any Tool)Etc.- Experience of specialist technical experience, within a Business IT environment.- Multi-year Enterprise experience managing and operating all or most of following technologies : Networking, Storage, Database, VMware, Windows OS and Active Directory, Application Performance Monitoring, Orchestration tools, Collaboration tools, Jira, Service desk, Cybersecurity, Virtualization, Device Management solutions, Modern workplace, printing and imaging, Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS), etc.- Application Support, Development, ERP, Manufacturing Operations SupportAdditional skills : - Nutanix, Meraki Switch and Access Point.- VMWARE, Firewall, EDR, ISO 27001 Cyber security (ref:hirist.tech)
