Add new sites in Patch manager as per the ongoing projects
Manage the user accounts and carry out password management in Patch Manager
Manage and update the patch manager data bases
Onsite verification of patching frame details against patch manager report by structural cabling vendor
Patch manager data verification with the drawings and provide governance associated with the patch manager database management
Verification of testing and documents submitted by structural cabling vendor upon completion of all cabling infrastructure upgrade works
Provide technical support for all projects related urgent patch requests
Monthly spot check all India and Ex-India projects patch frame elevation against patch manager system records
Management of IT patching request related to new offices / projects and co-ordination with local contractor
Prepare and provide handover documentation related to Patch manager to operations team in a timely manner
Provide patch manager training to local CS, cable vendors and MS IT
Collaborate with vendors and key partners when needed
Track deliverables using appropriate tools and techniques
Ensuring that all the records are updated in the systems
Production and management of all documentations
Essential Skills & Behavioral Traits
8+ Years of experience managing and updating databases in Data Center IT Operations or comms room
In-depth knowledge and experience of change & incident management; Strong problem-solving skills
Proven ability to motivate, act as an escalation point
Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with English and local language(s) (Decision making, confrontation management, commitment, coaching the team)
Vendor Management skills
Provide oversight to improve service levels. Train, mentor, and suggest improvements / modifications to training programs
Strong sense of technical services continuity / resiliency, ability to manage risks and impact of services while liaising with users / owner's requirements and activities
Review industry standards for patch manager to improve time to market, quality, consistency, and accuracy across assigned data centres
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft server product
Expert knowledge of PC and Server Hardware as well as networking
Desirable
Microsoft / Linux / UNIX certification and/or administration experience.
Network certification - CCNA, Network+.
Data Center related certification - CDCP/S/E, CDCMP/TP.
