Job description
This position is for Diamond Shipbrokers, a division of Samsara Shipping Pvt. Ltd.
The right candidates will have 5-to-10-year experience in shipbroking & chartering dealing in dry bulk cargoes such as iron ore, coal, fertilizers, and other raw materials in bulk. They should be well familiar with voyage and time charter of various ship sizes from Supramax up to Cape ships. They should have good commercial knowledge and close relationships with cargo interests as well as shipowners and operators. They should be self-motivated and productive with good communication skills and pleasant personality.
Location is flexible and can consider placement at any of our offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai or Kolkata.
Qualification such as Fellow or Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London or Shipping Diploma from NMIS will be a definite advantage.
