Responsibilities
- Formulating effective land acquisition strategy based on organizational requirements, business environment and local/global trends and government policies/Rules.
- Leading the efforts towards timely land acquisition/possession and liaising with all stakeholders (villagers, patwaris, tehsildars, Revenue Inspectors etc.) to ensure smooth running of land acquisition related processes like land survey, award and compensation etc.
- Obtaining statutory clearances for forest clearance for land acquisition from government.
- Legal compliance related to land acquisition.
- Coordinating with district administration and government authorities for entries of revenue records of rights in favor of the companies.
- Smooth and timely rehabilitation and resettlement of project displaced villagers.
- Prior knowledge of managerial and on-site implications of the activities related to land acquisition
- Extensive experience in handling legal affairs over a wide range of matters, specially land acquisition
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi to ensure effective conveying of information with necessary stakeholders
- Exemplary persuasive skills to direct actions and results towards the best interests of the organization
- Must be able to hold good networking with stakeholders and ensure their coordination in necessary situations.
Qualifications Qualification : Graduate / LLB
Experience : 8+ years in LA
