Job description
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of operations staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Drive continuous process improvements to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
Identify training and development needs of the team members and provide necessary support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Maintain a strong focus on compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Prepare and present regular reports and updates on operational performance to senior management.
Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, employee engagement, and a customer-centric approach.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and stay competitive.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Operations Management, etc.). A master's degree may be preferred.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using relevant software applications.
Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.
Flexibility to work in shifts, if required.
