Responsibilities:
Clinical Observation:Shadow and observe experienced neurologists in various clinical settings
Gain exposure to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders
Patient Care:Assist in the examination, assessment, and management of patients with neurological conditions
Participate in patient consultations under the supervision of senior neurologists
Diagnostic Procedures:Learn and perform basic neurological diagnostic procedures, such as electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies
Treatment Planning:Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
Participate in discussions about medication management and therapeutic interventions
Medical Records:Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients
Document patient histories, examinations, and treatment plans
Continuing Education:Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge in neurology
Stay informed about advancements in neurological research and treatment modalities
Collaboration:Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases
