Company: A global investment bankTeam Overview: The work of the Strategy team includes business performance review, analysis of business and operating model, market entry strategy, acquisition screening and industry & competitor analysis. The team works directly with senior management across the businesses and regions to determine the optimal strategy for reaching the business aspirations in the rapidly changing market environment.Experience: 3 to 5 yearsQualification: MBA or MS or B.Tech from top tier instituteRole & Responsibilities:Work as a part of the Strategy division on global, regional and divisional projectsPrepare presentations for senior management board meetings, investor day, off-sites, town HallsSupport management / business on strategic projects (e.G. identifying opportunities in new areas of growth, developing medium-term business strategy and planning, acquisition screening / evaluation for inorganic opportunities, new digital business growth opportunities etc.)Execute projects on business optimization, restructuring and cost efficiencyStrategic assessment of underperforming businesses and development of scenarios / recommendations for business headsConduct analysis of the competitive and general macro / market environment for senior management presentations. Develop market sizing / revenue pool modelsPrepare quarterly presentation on Wholesale division’s earnings covering financial performance analysis, changes in business environment and key themes impacting the earningsMost of the projects require working closely with strategy team members, business CAOs, finance and other functional teams in different regions; working independently or with the support of another member of the teamRole provides wide exposure into investment banking industry across Fixed Income Equities and IB AdvisoryDesired Profile:3-5 years of relevant work experience in a strategy role, in a consulting firm or a strategy/business planning unit of a financial institutionKnowledge of capital markets / investment banking will be preferred
