Description: Zscaler
is looking for a seasoned and experienced software engineer to contribute to the design and development of Zscaler Digital Experience solution, a new fast growing cloud monitoring solution built on top of Zscaler platform. The ideal software engineer is very technical with a strong full-stack background with experience in network and device data collection from endpoint devices and managing that data from the cloud. Who You Are ● Hands-on in designing, writing beautiful code and quickly building prototypes ● Natural at writing unit tests and integrating into CI/CD ● Designed highly available backend services that scales horizontally with security in mind for public cloud applications (SaaS) ● Preferably worked on a cloud system that manages device and network data collected from endpoint devices. ● Diagnosed complex customer issues and take ownership of issue resolution ● Pleasant to work with, passion for solving customer problems with a can-do attitude ● Worked on an iterative and agile software delivery process ● Delivered rock solid production ready code. Requirements ● 5+ years of experience developing backend services in distributed and cloud environments. ● Developed code deployed in a SaaS application environment. ● Solid grasp on data structures and object-oriented design ● Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot. ● Experience designing RESTful services and APIs using frameworks like Jersey or Spring. ● Experience with scaling backend services using caching technologies such as Redis . ● Design backend messaging infrastructure using frameworks like Kafka . ● Experience with services deployed in cloud-computing environments, Azure , AWS or GCP. ● Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Bamboo, Jenkins Pipeline, or Spinnaker) ● Application or network monitoring knowledge is a plus ( DNS, ICMP, TCP and/or UDP). ● Bachelors and/or Masters in computer science or related field of study Why Zscaler? · Zscaler is the world’s leading software-as-a-service security platform · We deliver best of breed security services with unprecedented scale · 100 Million threats detected a day across 185+ countries · Glassdoor rating of 4.7/5.0 + 98% CEO Approval = Exceptional place to work!
