Job description Position Title: Financial Analyst – Climate bonds

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Onsite)

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst who has experience in Climate bonds such as Green Bonds, Sustainability-Linked Bonds and Sustainability-Linked Loans to join our team. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the potential of a company to raise funds through bonds. The candidate must have experience in underwriting of bonds.

Key Tasks & Accountability: Conduct detailed financial analysis to evaluate the potential of companies to raise funds through bonds. Keep abreast of market trends and developments in the field of climate bonds. Identify and assess potential risks associated with bond issuance. Prepare detailed reports outlining the findings and recommendations. Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategies for bond issuance. Education and Experience: Domain expertise and qualifications include, but are not limited to: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree relevant to the Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant degree. Min 2 years of experience in Bonds and relevant underwriting experience. At least 2 years of proven working experience relevant to access to finance, application of financial instruments and climate change mitigation. Good understanding of ICMA and CBI standards and certification process Having experience in the issuance, verification, or auditing of bonds is considered valuable. Skills: Strategic vision, Strong technical and analytical capabilities. Strong reporting and writing abilities. Underwriting of Bonds. Be thorough with Bond Issuance process and mandatory requirements. Domain expert in the standards and taxonomies related to bonds. Personal Attributes: A team player with good interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities. A self-motivator and a collaborative team player. Excellent time management skills and the ability to assume leadership roles when necessary. Agile, action oriented and a quick learner. Out of box thinker.
