Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Bakery & Pastry Chef to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Bakery & Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and pastries for our coffee houses. This is a senior position, requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in the field. The job location is Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. This is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Bakery & Pastry Chef, with a minimum of 7 years in a similar role.
- Highly skilled in bakery techniques, including artisan baking and confectionary.
- In-depth knowledge of pastry creation and presentation.
- Proficient in using various baking equipment and tools.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create a wide variety of baked goods and pastries for our coffee houses.
- Develop and refine recipes to ensure exceptional taste and presentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation for bakery ingredients and supplies.
- Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and other bakery staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery kitchen.
- Collaborate with the coffee house team to create innovative and enticing dessert menus.
- Stay updated with industry trends and introduce new pastry concepts and flavors.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of our bakery department.
