Job description
Qualification: Diploma/ BSc in Fire/ Industrial Safety/ Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with 1-year full time Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized university or technical Education board. Experience: • Must have 3-4 years’ experience in manufacturing of Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Pharma/ Oil & Gas industries. Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield Industrial complexes preferred. NEBOSH Course will be of advantage. • Should be proficient inEnglish & Hindi. Excellent Written & Verbal communication skills. • Should be proficient in MS Office – Excel, PPT, Word. Duties & Responsibilities: • Provide advice and consultation to department staff to assist them in maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with environmental/safety regulations, standards and practices. • Coordinate & implement HIRA, Work Permit System – Confined space, Hot work, heigh work etc., & implement emergency procedures. • Lead Toolbox talks. • Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. Undertake surveys to identify and evaluate occupational health, safety, and environmental conditions. • Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices. • Provide advice and counsel concerning compliance with corporate safety regulations and procedures. • Perform construction site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations. • Coordinate the implementation of controls from results of hazard analyses. • Subcontractor HSE plan Assessment • HSE Trainings and awareness of Project team, Internal Audit & follow-up for timely Compliance closure
