Job description

We are looking for a talented content writer who will produce written content that will help our company & clients achieve their goals. You will be working closely with our editorial team and marketing team to develop content strategies. Your basic responsibilities include researching, writing content for both digital platforms and in print, proofreading, and editing. As a content writer, you are also expected to write SEO-friendly content to drive traffic and improve search rankings. 

Requirements

1. Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
2. Developing content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
3. Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
4. Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
5. Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
6. Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
7. Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
8. Identifying customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
9. Create, execute, and maintain a content calendar.

Qualifications & Skills

1. Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
2. Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or a related field.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in content writing and editing.
4. Excellent writing and editing skills.
5. Familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
6. Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
7. A strong portfolio showcasing published articles and writing styles.
8. The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
9. Effective communication skills.
10. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
