We are looking for a
Payments Operations Specialist to join our Payments team at Papaya Global.
You will:
- Be the first port of call for payment related queries and concerns
- Investigating and responding to payment queries from internal and external parties
- Monitoring of payments execution and resolving any issues
- Working with 3rd party payment providers to resolve queries
- Ensuring payments/reports are loaded on to the system correctly and timely
- Provide and maintain exceptionally high levels of customer service
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the payments and customer service teams as we continue to scale
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree – preferably in a STEM subject
- 2+ years of work experience in a financial services customer-facing role, preferably B2B
- Excellent communications skills – written and verbal
- Proactive and creative in problem-solving
- Ability to multitask and work under stressful conditions
- Understanding of payments systems and settlement cycles
- Proficient in tools like Salesforce, Microsoft office etc.
