Position: Cyber Security Analyst - Senior Level
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Ethical Hacker with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), implementing security measures, and a deep understanding of Python desktop applications, web applications, and API security. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct comprehensive Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests (VAPT) on various systems, networks, web applications, and APIs to identify security weaknesses and potential vulnerabilities. 2. Develop and execute effective strategies for identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities, ensuring thorough testing of all potential attack vectors. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and remediation strategies based on assessment findings. 4. Provide expert guidance and recommendations for improving overall security posture, including but not limited to system hardening, configuration management, and access control. 5. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques to continuously enhance our security practices. 6. Develop and maintain custom scripts and tools using Python to automate security testing processes and enhance efficiency. 7. Conduct security assessments of Python-based desktop applications, web applications, and APIs to identify security flaws and recommend appropriate countermeasures. 8. Document all assessment findings, including vulnerabilities discovered, exploitation techniques used, and recommended remediation steps, in clear and concise reports. 9. Collaborate with clients to explain assessment findings, potential risks, and recommended mitigation strategies professionally and understandably. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) are highly desirable. 2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, and ethical hacking. 3. Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security principles. 4. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages, with advanced knowledge of Python for developing custom security tools and automating testing processes. 5. Experience with security assessment tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, etc. 6. Demonstrated expertise in identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and desktop applications. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 9. Proven track record of delivering high-quality security assessments and reports within established timelines. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field. 2. Experience working in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government, with a strong understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR). 3. Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 4.
