Role Description This is a full-time on-site role (we have a hybrid model of WFH for 2 days/week) for a Manager Compliance at Ankur Capital in Byculla, Mumbai. The Manager Compliance will report to the Chief Operating Officer and be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to legal requirements for the firm's investments and operations. The hands-on role involves developing and implementing compliance strategies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring compliance activities, and providing guidance and training to employees. The Manager Compliance will also collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective compliance management. Qualifications CS and/or LLB with between 2-8 years of experience of working in/for a PE/VC fund or financial services company regulated by SEBI. Strong knowledge of and experience in regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on SEBI AIF regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations to business practices. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Certifications in compliance or related fields are a plus.Job tags
