OCI L2 Engineer JD responsible for providing more advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services Should handle complex issues that go beyond basic user inquiries and are expected to have a deeper understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, networking, and system administration In-depth understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, architecture, and components, including Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security, and Monitoring Strong grasp of networking principles, including IP addressing, subnets, routing, load balancing, VPN, VCN (Virtual Cloud Network), DNS, and firewall configurations within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including system administration tasks, command-line utilities, and troubleshooting common OS-related issues Ability to write scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) to automate tasks, deploy resources, and manage configurations within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to infrastructure, performance, networking, and application deployments. Knowledge of techniques to monitor and optimize the performance of OCI services, including utilization metrics, logs, and diagnostic tools. Familiarity with PaaS services OAC, FAW OIC, Streaming, API Gateway, etc. Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, snapshot management, and disaster recovery mechanisms offered by OCI. Ability to work with OCI APIs and SDKs for automation, resource management, and integration with third-party tools. The cloud industry evolves rapidly, so a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with new OCI services and features is essential. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, document solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams Should be Certified Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Professional. (1.) To clearly understand the client's cybersecurity environment and respective product. (2.) To monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring tools (3.) To analyse and validate cybersecurity incidents in-detail and help the L3 team with RCAordata or logs collection (4.) To enable knowledge transferortrainings through creationor maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals and provide operational training to L1 team. (5.) To analyse and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests and recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes. (6.) To implement changes, monitor security device performance and implements performance tuning when necessary. (7.)
