Job description
What you ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Kubernetes and Docker to support our applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable software solutions
- Write high-quality code in Python and Go to ensure the performance, security, and maintainability of our applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to microservices and containers
- Develop and enhance features over DNS/DHCP protocols
- Interact with Product Management, QA, and Support for the best end-to-end customer experience
- Performance tuning, scalability, and optimization
- Coordinate with development teams for release planning
- Improve scalability and manageability of the Core DDI product line and for distributed virtualized environments
- Design and develop algorithms to solve complex application problems, system administration, and other network concerns
- Work with Engineering and Customer Technical Support to diagnose and resolve challenging field issues
What you ll bring:
- Solid understanding of network protocols, API design, and best practices
- Excellent programming skills in Python and Go, plus solid debugging and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and container orchestration tools like Docker Compose
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols, such as DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux internals, C, shell scripting, and algorithms
- A willingness to work on customer escalations and NIOS platform enhancements
- A great attitude and willingness to be a good team player
- Bachelor s degree in CS, CE, EE or equivalent is required
- Any relevant certifications, such as Kubernetes Certified Administrator, are a plus
What success looks like:
After six months, you will
- Work on feature enhancements

- Develop expertise in assigned modules
After about a year, you will
- Work toward becoming a subject matter expert in your domain
- Be able to execute RFEs independently
- Work on performance tuning and optimization
