Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC & HMI systems such as Siemens, Mitubushi, Omron, Delta, Proface, etc.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages and software like ladder logic and structured text.
- Preparation of offline programs for PLC/HMI systems prior to power on, and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, servo, vision, robot, SCADA, and other control systems.
- Machine testing, commissioning, and installation at the site, along with troubleshooting for SPM (Special Purpose Machines).
- Preparation and sharing of RCA (Root Cause Analysis) reports and lesson learned documents for failures and repeated issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, Sysmac Studio, and Allen-Bradley RSLogix.
- Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and industrial communication protocols like Profibus, Ethernet I/P, and Modbus.
- Diploma in Mechatronics, Diploma in Electrical & Electronics, or NTTF certification.
