DevSecOps Project Manager – Level III Location: India (must be local to India) Duration: 3/11/24-6/30/24 with potential extension/conversion Rate: $18/hr USD Overview: We are currently seeking a Project Manager – Level II, who will be instrumental in overseeing the lifecycle of various projects, from development through to implementation, ensuring they meet sponsors' expectations and are delivered within budget and on schedule. This role requires coordinating with team members, managing complex, cross-functional projects, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates should have extensive project management experience, including expertise in managing ServiceNow implementation projects, and be adept in Scrum Master and DevSecOps methodologies. With opportunities for extension based on performance, this position is aimed at professionals who are customer-focused, process-driven, and ready to contribute to our project management standards and processes. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive plans and schedules for the development and implementation of projects. Assign personnel to projects, overseeing their activities to ensure project objectives are met. Manage high complexity, cross-functional system implementation, maintenance, and integration projects. Ensure projects meet sponsors’ expectations and are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor and control project quality, risks, issues, and changes. Contribute to the development or enhancement of internal project management standards and processes. Assess the impact of project changes and re-forecast project value creation. Develop executive-level sponsorship and support for projects within affected organizations. Maintain project team morale and resolve issues escalated by the management team. Escalate unresolved issues through the governance framework. Qualifications: BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience. 3-5 years of experience in managing large-scale initiatives in an engineering or technology environment; 7-10 years of project management experience. Experience in managing ServiceNow implementation projects is essential. Trained in Scrum Master and DevSecOps methodologies. Expert knowledge in engineering or IT disciplines. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly desired. Advanced proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, including financial and schedule performance reporting. Exceptional analytical, organizational, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills. Customer-focused, process-driven, metric-focused, results-oriented, organized, and self-directed.
