Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Magento Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing Magento-based eCommerce websites, from design to deployment. You will work closely with our project managers and other developers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Magento-based eCommerce websites
- Collaborate with project managers and other developers to understand clients' requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to best practices
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Magento installations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Magento development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in developing Magento-based eCommerce websites
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Magento 1.x and/or Magento 2.x
- Strong understanding of Magento's architecture, themes, extensions, and modules
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Magento certification(s)
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify or WooCommerce
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with AWS or other cloud services
