Job description
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of analytics professionals, ensuring effective team operations and project delivery. This includes setting clear goals, providing ongoing coaching, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and execute an analytics and reporting strategy that supports the companys Ecommerce objectives - focusing on data integrity, optimizing performance and surfacing growth opportunities.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market and Ecommerce data, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments, particularly those focused on Ecommerce, to provide reports and data products that inform strategic decisions and improve our website experience.
- Maintain high standards for data integrity and accuracy across all analytics processes and ETLs.
- Stay updated with industry trends in Ecommerce and analytics, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ability to work remotely with global stakeholders across IST, EST, and PST timezones.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytics role, with specific experience in Ecommerce analytics being a significant advantage.
- Required management experience or proven experience in a team lead role.
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Looker, Snowflake, and Google Analytics.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and data manipulation techniques; familiarity with LookML is beneficial.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex data insights to diverse audiences.
- Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- A Masters degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
