As a project controller, you will play a critical role as a member of the Program Management Office (PMO) for large, enterprise services programs. You will provide key financial services to the engagement delivery team, working directly with the Program Manager and multiple Project Managers. , developing and managing the resource allocation plan, and providing analytics and reporting to ensure successful delivery for our largest, most strategic accounts.
This position requires big-picture thinking, initiative, zeal, attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, the capacity to handle internal and external relationships, the competence to work with senior executives, and excellent soft skills.
Willing to work in a multi-stakeholder 24/7 work environment
Work location: Any GDC location flex preferably
Key Responsibilities
* Work directly with the Program Manager to define and document the program’s objectives and create a financial schedule to ensure the goals can be met.
* Work directly with the Project Managers to establish project schedules and develop resource allocation plans to deliver project objectives
* Work closely with internal staffing and external sub-contracting partners to staff the program according to the resource allocation plan
* Track utilization of project resources, and manage that utilization against the resource allocation plan and budget. This includes tracking time entry and approvals for project timesheets.
* Understanding of Agile-certified Scrum processes, and current methods of coordinating Business & IT. Understanding of Scrum Master concepts and exhibits demonstrably the traits of a successful Scrum Master. Possesses certification in either Agile Scrum Master (ASM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from an accredited Agile/Scrum organization.
* Monitor project progress to ensure on-time delivery of projects, while also ensuring that project governance is properly adhered to
* Create and maintain reports addressing all aspects of program delivery and completion; and effectively analyze, summarize and communicate to the Program Manager and/or Customer Stakeholders
* Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
Requirements
* 3+ years of relevant experience as a project controller/analyst, 1+ year of Salesforce Experience and 8+ years of overall IT experience
* Salesforce Certifications (Admin, Sales, Service, Experience cloud)(Nice to have)
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognise areas of project delivery that need to be re-addressed to maintain efficiency and cost control; and with the ability to lead and implement those changes, and measure the results.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to handle and drive production release calls and send a summary post successful go-lives
* Willing to travel on a need basis
* Relevant Scrum / Project management Certification (CSM / PSM I / CAPM, ) (Nice to have)
