Job Title: Site Supervisor (Civil)
Location: Coimbatore
Type of Position: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Supervisor (Civil) to join our dynamic team, contributing to our ongoing projects in Coimbatore and Pollachi. This role is ideal for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals with up to 3 years of experience in the civil engineering field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient job execution and adherence to project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
- Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including progress reports, material usage logs, and worker attendance, to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the construction meets or exceeds standards and client expectations.
- Assist in project planning and scheduling, including estimating timelines and material requirements.
- Foster a safe working environment by conducting safety briefings and training sessions for site personnel.
- Manage and resolve conflicts or misunderstandings that may arise on site in a professional manner.
Essential Qualifications:
- Diploma or BE in Civil Engineering (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; up to 3 years of experience is preferred).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
