As National Head of Accounts managing a team of 6 to 10, he will be responsible for ensuring timely Invoicing, Collections, Remittances, Statutory filings, respond and manage statutory Audits including annual Statutory Audits and Audits and investigations by Income Tax, GST and other government departments.
As National Head of Compliance, he will audit and report Compliance by other departments, of Customs regulations, Companys internal processes and systems. He will also lead and ensure Compliance of various internal and group compliance requirements like Geocheck & Respire.
This position reports to the Regional Director South Asia and functionally, also to the Group CFO and Group Compliance Head both based in Hong Kong.
Shall be based in New Delhi and extensive travel within India to Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru will be required.
Experience:
Should have been working in Accounts and Legal functions for a total period of not less than 10 years.
Should have managed a team of junior Accounts personnel for a period of not less than 5 years,
Should have overseen Income Tax and GST filings, and should have also managed their Audits,
Should have managed annual Statutory Audits with external auditors.
Proficiency in accounting tools namely TALLY and BC are mandatory.
If from the logistics industry, that will be an added qualification.
