Job description
Job Title: Financial Controller Location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports. Present financial reports to management and stakeholders. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the budgeting process. Provide financial forecasts based on business trends and analysis. Monitor budget variances and provide explanations. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Identify and mitigate financial risks. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. Stay informed about changes in financial regulations. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making. Provide insights into cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profitability improvement. Cash Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity. Optimize working capital and manage banking relationships. Team Management: Supervise and mentor finance/accounting staff. Oversee day-to-day activities of the finance department. Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the company's financial strategy. Provide financial input for strategic planning. ERP Systems: Utilize and optimize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for financial management. Implement improvements to financial systems and processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation may be preferred. Experience: Several years of progressively responsible experience in finance or accounting. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of financial principles and accounting standards. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Certifications: CPA, CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or similar certifications may be preferred.
