About Plastic Fischer Plastic Fischer is a social enterprise from Germany that stops ocean plastic in rivers to protect marine biodiversity. We develop low-tech solutions that can be built on-site from locally available materials. Since April 2021, we have created more than 85 jobs in India and Indonesia and collected and processed more than 1200 tons of plastic. Plastic Fischer GmbH is the winner of the Next Economy Award 2023 of the German Sustainability Award and was also honoured by the World Economic Forum. More than 50 companies, including Allianz, Covestro and Siemens, are among the supporters of the young company.
About the job Plastic Fischer is financed through organizations that fund our operations through their mandatory and voluntary CSR initiatives. To achieve our ambitious goal of becoming the world's largest company to prevent ocean plastic, we are now looking for an experienced Corporate Partnerships and Development Manager with a passion for environmental sustainability, a strong network amongst corporate donors and a proven track record in fundraising and developing corporate partnerships. Profile and qualifications +5 years of experience and a proven track record in hands-on sales/fundraising for CSR operations. The existing network includes but is not limited to Heads of CSR, Chief Sustainability Officers and Chief Marketing Officers of medium-sized and large Indian and multinational corporations. Used to decision-making and independent, self-motivated and result-based working. We are looking for someone who Has experience working in startups and is used to working in small teams and taking responsibility. Is able to present impact projects with the necessary passion and emotion. Understands the dynamics of a startup and the related urgency with which some tasks have to be handled. Brings the necessary motivation, resilience and flexibility to succeed in the startup environment. Would like to use his/her skills to create environmental and social impact. Responsibilities Increase our funding and support base by identifying and engaging new corporate partners. Develop and present our program proposals that align with corporate CSR strategies, with a strong focus on environmental, awareness, and social inclusion projects. Collect relevant data from corporate partners to customize the proposal according to their expectations. Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and potential corporate partners, acting as the main point of contact throughout the lifecycle of each partnership. Further develop and implement our commercial strategy, highlighting areas such as product design, pricing, and sales channel exploration. Generate leads and reach out to potential clients. Travel to fairs and networking events to represent the company. Research on environmental and social responsibility trends.
