"Backend Integration Engineer” for one of our clients in “India - Remote”. A global leader in business and technology services. Role: Backend Integration Engineer Location: India - Remote Type: Fulltime Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Back End Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in system integration and proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in back-end development and a proven track record of integrating complex systems, APIs, and services. As part of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the backbone of our applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and seamlessly integrated. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Python or Golang. Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, and other relevant technologies. Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for each integration point, including OAuth, JWT, API Keys, and SSL/TLS. Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to define integration requirements, data exchange formats, and communication protocols. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability. Develop error-handling frameworks and logging mechanisms to facilitate the easy tracking and resolution of issues within integrated systems. Lead the documentation process for all integration points, including API specs, data models, and sequence diagrams. Stay abreast of new integration technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to existing architecture and processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in back-end development with strong coding skills in Java, Golang, or Python. Deep knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON). Experience with various authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2, JWT, Basic Auth, and API Keys. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, encryption standards, and data protection protocols. Proficiency in integrating with both SQL and NoSQL databases, and a solid understanding of database design principles. Familiarity with microservices architectures, API gateways, and service mesh frameworks. Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud architecture. Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools. Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the tech community. Certifications in Java, Golang, Python, or cloud technologies are a plus. A proven track record of continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies and frameworks in the integration ecosystem.
