Overview: Business Head-Wellness plays a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction and operational management of a newly established vertical within Nova Benefits. This role demands a dynamic leader with a proven track record in managing P&L, leading cross-functional teams, and driving business growth in a fast-paced startup environment.

Competencies:

• P&L Management: Experience in managing P&L responsibilities, with a comprehensive understanding of sales, marketing, customer success, and collaboration with product managers to drive business outcomes.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated capability in leading and managing teams of 10-20 individuals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proficiency in problem-solving, evaluated through case interviews, showcasing the ability to address complex challenges and drive innovative solutions.

Background:

• Candidates who are Ex-Founders, Ex-Consultant and Category Managers in large companies
• Looking for people who have served as P&L owners in startups, bring valuable insights into strategic planning and execution.
• Former founders with hands-on experience in scaling businesses and navigating challenges in the startup ecosystem.
• Ideal candidates will possess 5-10 years of relevant work experience, combining expertise in business management, strategy development, and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the expansion of the welness vertical, targeting a 4x growth within 12 months, while ensuring good customer experience and renewals of existing business.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the long-term viability of the business model, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve a significant growth milestone of 100x within a 6-year timeframe, positioning the vertical for sustained success and market leadership.
