Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and sustaining solid relationships with key clients that bring in the most income for the company
• Addressing and resolving key clients' complaints
• Acting as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams
• Communicating and collaborating with cross departments to ensure that key clients’ needs are met
• Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams and stakeholders
• Developing a thorough understanding of client’s needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions
• Negotiating contracts with clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals
• Identify new product & service expansion opportunities by understanding and advocating for customer needs and problems
• Develop and possess in-depth understanding of The Yarn Bazaar’s internal and external platforms and product offerings
• Stay up-to-date with the industry trends and attend industry events & conferences, both domestic and international

SKILLS:

• Proven experience in key account management and ability to handle multiple client accounts
• Proven knowledge of business development and account management techniques and processes as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced & constantly changing environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Very strong negotiation, networking, and relationship building abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate at all levels of a customer or partner organisation and capable of managing the contracting and negotiation processes
• Strong aptitude in decision-making and data-driven mindset, analysing performance via metrics, and communicating results effectively
