Job description

The HR Associate will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions within the organization. This role involves Onboarding and offboarding activities, maintaining employee records and documentation, supporting employee engagement initiatives, HRMS management, Travel Management, Leave Management, and other activities of Employee lifecycle management. The HR Associate contributes to the overall effectiveness of the HR team by ensuring smooth operations and adherence to HR policies and procedures.

Reports to: HR Manager Onboarding:

· Coordinate and execute the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

· Conduct orientation sessions and facilitate integration into company culture and values.

· Ensure all required documentation is completed and processed.

Offboarding:

· Manage the offboarding process, conduct exit interviews, and gather feedback.

· Coordinate return of company property and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.

· Update HR records and facilitate knowledge transfer where applicable.

Payroll Administration:

· Oversee and execute the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Collaborate with finance to address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.

· Stay informed about payroll regulations and compliance.

· Hands-on experience dealing with PF, PT, and GSTGST

Leave Management:

· Administer and oversee the leave management process, including tracking and processing leave requests.

· Communicate leave policies and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Timesheet Management:

· Manage the timesheet process, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

· Address timesheet-related inquiries and discrepancies.

Employee Engagement:

· Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.

· Organize events, activities, and programs to enhance the overall employee experience.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.

· Prepare and organize HR-related documentation, including contracts and policy manuals

Travel Management:

· Coordinate and book domestic and international travel arrangements for employees.

· Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, and hotels to secure the best rates and accommodations.

Expense Management:

· Oversee the submission and processing of travel-related expenses.

· Verify and reconcile travel expenses against approved budgets.

· Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

Benefits Administration:

· Oversee and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive and compliant offerings.

· Communicate benefit options to employees and guide insurance-related, health-related, or any other employee benefit inquiries.insurance-related, health related or any other employee benefit inquiries.

Who Should Apply

 

· 6 months to 2 years of experience in HR, preferably in a start-up

· Basic knowledge of HR Principles, practices, and employment laws

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Self-starter and Proactive, jovial, and fun

· Willing to work from the office, 5 days a week.
