SSOE is looking to hire an Electrical Designer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to participate in the design of state-of-the-art industrial and high-tech manufacturing facilities for the world’s leading high-tech companies.
Our Electrical Designers will be responsible for working within our design team to create and problem-solve exciting and complex designs that incorporate some of the latest design techniques, while ensuring that all specifications are met, and to ensure timely completion of projects.
The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing.
- Responsible for development of 3D model and 2D drawing of various electrical systems for industrial facilities including but not limited to single line diagram of power systems, electrical equipment layout, hazardous area classification drawing, hook-up drawing, lighting, Power, site plan, grounding and lightning protection systems using REVIT software.
- Produce Revit families according to project requirements / Modifying Revit families as per project requirement.
- Ability to work on ACC, BIM 360 & maintain BIM standards and library of BIM objects.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and other stake holder(s) to develop a clash free system design.
- Responsible for managing the assigned scope within agreed schedule, and high quality.
- Assisting engineers in preparing, coordinating and reviewing deliverables for the discipline
- A committed team player able to work on their own initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
- Willing to undertake additional responsibilities on projects and organization.
- Diploma or Certification courses in Electrical engineering is preferred.
- 1 to 5 years of Experience on Revit and in Industrial Projects
- Knowledge of Revit is Mandatory and Knowledge of Navisworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of or experience with the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Industrial design experience is preferred. Candidate should be flexible to attend team meeting occasionally during India evening time.
