About the project

PATH's ongoing work is focused on improving young people's access to mental healthcare services, and rational use of digital mental health interventions. PATH's program ASPIRE aims to improve mental health outcomes among young people aged 15-24 years in Chikkaballapura district, Karnataka state by developing and deploying interventions to improve young people's access to mental health resources, and care for common mental disorders through primary healthcare services in the district.

About the position

PATH is looking forward to engaging a mental health professional with public health experience as a Project Manager on Third Party Payroll – Randstad to lead the development of the project interventions and its implementation in Karnataka. Knowledge and experience in youth mental health – psychology or psychiatry, proficiency in Kannada and experience of working in Karnataka in mental health projects is required. Experience of working in mental health projects in primary care settings and with the public health system is highly preferable.

The required skills include the development of mental health interventions to be integrated within primary care settings, program planning, implementation & management in liaison with the state and district health administration, analysis, and reporting.
