Position Details:

Position: Senior Database Engineer

Type: Full-time

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Vadodara

Experience: 6+ years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiner

Role: Contractual / C2H

Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days per week in-office)

Travel Requirements: Minimal

Position Level: 3

Role and Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into effective data models.
• Independently develop and maintain application schema upgrade scripts.
• Collaborate with the application development team to implement data strategies and conceptual data models.
• Manage day-to-day tasks efficiently to meet project deliverables.
• Demonstrate strong programming skills in SQL and other database technologies.
• Perform performance optimization, capacity planning, and tuning of production software solutions.
• Implement strategies for partitioning, archiving, and maturity models for applications.
• Execute backup and recovery procedures using RMAN/Data Pump utilities.
• Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, and implement disaster recovery solutions.
• Work with Oracle engineered systems like Exadata.
• Exhibit adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.

• Familiarize yourself with our database and application architecture.
• Participate in our monthly release cycle for applications and infrastructure.
