Job Title - Logistics Support Partner
Career Level - D Location: Chennai, India Introduction to Role: Join our Operations team as a Logistics Support Partner, where you will support the vision and goals of the team by providing clear metrics and data. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of life-saving medicines to customers on time. You will be responsible for a variety of training, admin, and continuous improvement activities.
Accountabilities: As a Logistics Support Partner, you will be responsible for reviewing and responding to ongoing training needs across the Freight & Logistics Team, handling documentation, training materials, and training plans. You will also act as the main point of contact for all new starters within the team, maintaining a robust induction programme. Your role will also involve data analytics, extracting operational data from various dashboards and sources to create daily metrics.
Essential Skills/Experience: - Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Box
- Data manipulation, reconciliation and cleansing experience
- Experience of facilitating meetings and presenting data and trends
- Visual preparation of data for presentations
- Data modelling
- Supply Chain awareness: Demand Management, inventory management and Sales & Operational Planning experience
- 3years in GxP regulated environments, notably quality management requirements for tools
- Knowledge of Logistics Industry, government agencies and regulatory authorities and regulations associated with the international distribution of pharmaceutical products
- Fluent in English
- Ability to analyse and interpret data and data trends, draw and present conclusions in a simple and concise way
- Experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
- Strong engagement, communication and partner management skills
- End to end supply chain experience with understanding of logistics activities
- Proven experience of working with sophisticated systems, using creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
- Candidates should be willing to work in European time zone
Desirable Skills/Experience: - EU SAP & APO familiarity
- Studying for or holding a Supply Chain accreditation i.e. APICS CLTD
- Studying for or holding a Logistics accreditation i.e. CILT
- Experience of working with or for a Freight Forwarder, Logistics Service Provider or 3rd Party Logistics Provider
- Customer Service experience
- Analytical capability and
- International experience
- Ability to speak additional languages
- GMP and GDP awareness
- Process improvement experience eg LEAN thinking
