Position Name: General Manager - QAD

Plant Location : Mantralayam, Kurnool Andhra Pradesh

Qualification : BE Metallurgy from NIT / Reputed institution

Experience : 20 to 25 yrs

Requirements:

1. Candidate must have proven experience in Alloy Steel / Stainless Steel plant.
2. Exposure to DRI, Induction Furnace, Strip mill and pipe mill preferred.
3. He Should be understand with rolling and melting processes as well as mechanical and metallurgical testing equipments and methods.
4. Experience in handling customer complaints of Sponge Iron and Pipe.
5. Drive the team to reduce defects.
6. Awareness of TQM.
7. Training on TQM and six sigma preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

1 Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of the quality system policies and procedures.
• Leads the development of, and adherence to, processes, control plans, inspection procedures, capability studies and sampling frequencies.
• Implements quality initiatives to attain and maintain customer satisfaction and focus.
• Represents MS Pipe during customer and supplier visits as appropriate to confer and effectively resolve specific quality problems.
• Provides technical assistance and training in quality techniques and services.
• Works in partnership with Operations management and company leadership.

Qualifications:

BE Metallurgy from NIT / Reputed institution with a proven track record of at least 20 years in Alloy Steel / Stainless Steel plant.
