Job description
Designation: Product Engineer/Manager for Solar ESS
Candidate from Solar background is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Product Management (Tasks):
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities.
Define product requirements and specifications based on market research and customer feedback.
Develop and maintain product roadmaps and timelines.
Work with engineering and design teams to develop new features and
functionality.
Manage the product launch process, including beta testing, marketing, and sales support.
Monitor product performance and gather customer feedback to drive continuous
improvement.
Product Engineering (Tasks)
Design and develop battery management systems, inverters, and other
components of the solar energy storage system.
Work with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure the system is safe, reliable, and efficient.
Conduct product testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with the system.
Communication & Collaboration:
Effectively communicate product information to internal and external
stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in product management or engineering within the solar energy industry.
Strong understanding of battery technology, solar energy systems, and power electronics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven track record of success in bringing products to market.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and operations.
Present product concepts and progress to senior management.
