Role Designation:
Senior Business Analyst Base Location: Pune Broad Overview of the Client: Our esteemed client is a multinational insurance group renowned for its expertise in private insurance solutions. With headquarters located in India, they specialize in offering a wide array of insurance products tailored for financial planning and security. Role Summary: The Senior Business Analyst will be instrumental in comprehending customer needs, analyzing business processes, and formulating effective solutions to address them. This role entails leading analysis efforts, collaborating on organizational initiatives, and delivering top-notch consulting solutions within defined parameters. Key Qualifications and Experience: - Extensive experience in the insurance domain, particularly in Life, Annuity, or Property and Casualty. - Proficiency in at least one Policy Administration System or Agent Management and Compensation Platform. - Understanding of external interfacing systems related to administration systems. - Thorough knowledge of various life insurance products such as Term, Whole Life, Universal Life, and Annuities. Job Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive analysis of business requirements, leveraging deep understanding of processes, solutions, and products. - Ensure smooth implementation of solutions as per project plans, preempting and addressing potential issues proactively. - Swiftly and accurately resolve common business issues, utilizing direct engagement with stakeholders and root cause analysis. - Engage in client discussions, articulating customer challenges, and recommending solutions aligned with industry and organizational best practices. - Lead requirements workshops, conduct current system studies, and propose strategic process/system enhancements. - Develop training materials and deliver user training sessions. - Provide expertise in solution design and team structure during presales activities. - Generate marketing collateral and case studies to support promotional efforts. - Supervise and mentor junior Business Analysts, ensuring the quality and consistency of their work. Technical / Domain Competencies: - Advanced proficiency in IT tools such as MS Excel, SQL, JIRA, and VISIO. - Certification such as Associate (III) or LOMA (ALMI / ACS) is desirable. - Strong grasp of the life insurance industry. - Exceptional written and oral communication skills, adept at conveying complex ideas effectively. - Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently. - Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities. Work Experience, Education Qualifications & Soft Skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business Administration. - Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience in business analysis within the life assurance industry. - Proven track record in client management and stakeholder engagement.
