Job description
Core Job Responsibilities
- Handling of direct taxation particularly Income Tax and Transfer Pricing.
- Assisting in Income Tax assessment/appeal proceedings including preparation of necessary details.
- Independently handing TDS compliance and addressing TDS queries (both internal and external) on day to day basis.
- Draft necessary representations to Tax Authorities including appeals.
- Prepare brief for counsel's opinion, paper books for submission to Revenue Authorities etc.
- Attending day to day queries of various business divisions and addressing the same.
- Liaison with Auditors and tax consultants.
- Assisting in tax audit, transfer pricing audit and preparation of Income Tax Return.
- Preparation of quarterly advanced tax and limited review taxation working
- Handing Tax Accounting (including Provision for tax, deferred tax working etc) under IND AS and US GAAP.
Handling various management tax reporting requirements
Education
Chartered Accountant (preferably CA cleared in first attempt).
Expertise in excel and SAP knowledge
Minimum Work Experience - Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience of 5+ years in handling taxation matters.
- Should have sound knowledge of Direct Taxation & Transfer Pricing.
Knowledge of Indirect Taxation will be added advantage
