Job description

Role This is a position that will become part of the core team that sets the creative vision and form for the company. We’re building the company ground up to become a contemporary, multi-disciplinary creative services company that will do category defining work and this role is crucial to the effort. This role is meant for someone who wants a wide canvas for creative expressions and believes in a democratic approach to creativity that feels native to audiences. The Creative Director (CD) is expected to evangelise POVs creative philosophy with clients (new & existing) and help develop a culture that fosters great work across creative disciplines.

What You’ll Be Doing Work with the core team to help establish benchmarks and shape the creative ‘product’ of POV. We are multi-part in our approach and the CD is expected to take lead in ensuring that the creative effort stays true to POVs vision across a combination of design, advertising, digital/social, experiential/innovation projects. Take lead when pitching for new clients. The idea is to not just manage the creative process but actively engage with potential clients (as part of the new business team) to understand ambitions, articulating the problem/opportunity statements and having a view on the strategic approach being suggested for the brand. The CD is also expected to take lead in presenting the solutions to clients and great presentation skills are mandatory for this role. Take full ownership of the creative product – craft compelling narratives, set high benchmarks for creative forms, and guide, mentor, direct the creative effort. Raise the creative bar substantially on existing businesses. Set expectations and guide, counsel and coach teams to ensure a culture of creative excellence. Actively look at the talent mix to ensure that we have the right combination of creative talent needed to achieve outcomes on brands. We’re strong believers in building teams that can collaborate and achieve creative excellence. The CD is expected to lead the efforts at recruiting and creating the right environment for multi-talent teams to thrive. Actively champion creative work that draws from culture. We live in a fertile environment where creativity cannot be templated and the CD is expected to be proactively look at how our work can shape and inform culture.

Experience/Qualification 10-15 years of experience with an Advertising/Design/Digital/Social /Experiential/Innovation company. We’re looking for Creative Directors who come from a writing background ideally. However, that is not mandatory and more importance will be given to the existing body of work. Showcase a portfolio that demonstrates a multi-creative approach across international and Indian brands. N uanced, v isually sophisticated and global - these are the values we are looking to see in the portfolio. Must have exposure to brands

(including global and Indian)

in the Luxury, Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle categories .

Additional Notes Role is a full time one based out of Mumbai, India. We currently don't have a work from home (WFH) policy in play at our end.
