As SDET engineer you will take concerns to the next level by helping developers to meet business case requirements and industry standards for quality, speed, scalability, and sustainability. You will be a part of the team that will take care of manual, automated, functional as well as non-functional testing of web applications built on latest technologies such as RoR, Java, GoLang, React, Redis, Postgres hosted on AWS and Azure clouds. You will also be integral in automating a lot of mundane and repetitive tasks and test cases in the latest technologies and frameworks built in Python, JS, low-code/no-code solutions etc. .

You will assure that the quality of the products developed can change the logistics landscape and will be used by some of the biggest corporations in the world. You will work closely with our US team and customers to validate features that help shape the logistics and supply chain industry.

What you'll be doing:

• Functional and Non-functional testing
• Test Case/script design and authoring
• Automation scripts development (design, coding, testing)
• Design and Develop automation framework(UI & backend services) along with authoring new automation test cases
• Triage & Resolve software incidents & bugsIdentifying trends and patterns within large sets of data, logs and internal applications
• Work with other cross-functional teams on testing and requirement definition.
• Participate in technical discussions and problem solving.
• Be part of a scrum team, attending daily standup calls and work with the QA team writing test cases in TestRail, a test case repository tool
• Run the tests in respective environments and file issues in Jira, a defect tracking tool
• Assist with triaging and fixing of failed automation suites
• Execute test for the existing feature or new feature going in the release
• Run established tests to ascertain release readiness
• Contribute in documentation of the QA processes like test plans and scenarios

Who you are:

• Proven experience of 3 - 4 years as a hands-on QA.
• Self-motivated individual who can work with little supervision.
• Proficient in Python and exposure to Pytest Framework.
• Proficient in testing methodologies, test case writing, automation and release process.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of revision control systems (Git, SVN etc.)Good to have knowledge on other languages like Javascript, Java etc.
• Good knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of queries using SQL and NoSQL databasesKnowledge or experience using middleware software used in managed runtime frameworks would be an added advantage. Eg, Message brokers, app gateways, redis etc.
