Job description
1.Ability to read plans and specifications and do layouts 2. Read & interpret details from R.C.C drawing and other relevant drawings 3. Interpret details from Bar bending schedule 4. Read and understand specification and standards provided for fabrication and fixing of reinforcement 5. Ensure maximum use of cut length & minimize wastage 6. Carryout calculation of BOQ quantity 7. Coordinate with site to meet demand requirement at site on priority basis 8. Safety rules and regulations for handling and storing relevant tools, equipment and materials for reinforcement works 9. Ensure standard practices for storing and stacking of reinforcement steel at the yard 10. Segregate prime length of steel rods based on diameter of bar 11. Visually check for quality of reinforcement steel against rusting 12. Monitor all rebar’s cutting and bending activity at yard 13. Understand manufacturer specification/instruction for use of power tools for cutting and
