Job description
NOTE: Edwiser Online is sourcing Sr. Profiles from the eLearning and content development Industry for the two biggest companies based out of Mumbai (VP - Content Operations) and Bengaluru (Role: Chief Pedagogy Officer).
The role owns the delivery of Content services to all its customers. The Vice President of content Operations plays a vital role in creating long-term healthy service provider-customer relationships, acting as the bridge between the client and our content delivery teams. This role also owns the financials of the content projects, such as revenue recognition and contribution. Delivering the content projects on time to budget with quality is the mantra for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively with all peers to ensure organizational goals are met
- Responsible for project delivery on time and to budget.
- Responsible for right effort goes into Infoweb and correct revenue recognition takes place
- Responsible for reviewing new custom content projects to plan and coordinate delivery activities
- Responsible for building positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growth.
- Responsible for managing any scope change and convert this to revenue from the customer
- Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting delivery issues in a timely fashion.
- Responsible to manage custom content delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
- Responsible for overseeing daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
- Responsible to serve as primary contact for customer concerns and to provide solutions for the same
- Responsible for analyzing customer orders and set delivery priorities to make schedule adjustments and meet timely delivery goals.
- Responsible to make critical business decisions in consultation with India Delivery head to meet customer expectations.
- Responsible for proactively managing service performance to meet or exceed SLAs and other contractual obligations
- Responsible for driving operational accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus
- Partnering with Key Account Management and Product teams to identify and drive new business opportunities
- Responsible for acting as the primary escalation point for daily operational issues
- Responsible for guiding and managing complex projects which have content and technology pieces or content and our products
- Responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements both to clients and to internally to custom content delivery team, as needed
- Responsible for driving technical innovation, best practices, and overall delivery excellence
