Job description



Playto Labs is an early-stage angel funded startup by IIT Kanpur alumni, working to make kids future-ready through play. We are building toys, games and curriculum where kids can learn through play. Within a year of launch, we have paying customers from 33 countries and are working on a large international opportunity. The current core team at Playto Labs has earlier built Skyfi Labs where they developed 100+ experiential learning products for UG level students, authored papers in experiential learning and won awards. Those products have paying customers from 67 countries and are rated 4.6+/5 on Google and FB with 1000+ reviews. With such a background, the team is now working on building highly engaging learning-by-doing products for kids. Playto Labs has raised a round of funding from some amazing angel investors who have built and exited startups successfully. Most of them invested after first becoming customers of Playto and seeing how the product is impacting their own children.

Job Description



Prioritize achieving sales targets by thoroughly understanding the product and competitive landscape, tailoring sales strategies for maximum impact.

Conduct strategic account research focused on enhancing sales opportunities and client relationships, with a keen emphasis on growing business from new accounts.

Identify and exploit new business opportunities, directly aligning efforts with the achievement of sales goals.

Utilize a consultative selling approach ensuring proposals are strategically crafted to convert schools/colleges to customers.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, recognizing their importance in achieving sustained sales performance.

Actively represent the company in various forums, networking and enhancing brand presence with a focus on driving sales and meeting targets.

Qualifications



Educational Qualification: Graduate in any field 

Experience: 2-3 years in B2B sales and account management preferably from schools/colleges.

Fluent English communication.

Strong Interpersonal skills and strategic thinking skills

Customer Service, negotiation, organization, and solution orientation.

 

Additional Information



The Area Sales Manager is key to acquiring new business from schools/colleges, encompassing cold calling, generating leads, meeting school/college principals and managements, account management, client acquisition, revenue generation, and project management.
