Role Description

This is a full-time US Mortgage Processing Professional role located in Hyderabad. The US Mortgage Processing Professional will be integral in managing various stages of the loan process, from initial application to post-closing. Responsibilities include handling loan applications and documents, verifying the accuracy of the loan application, obtaining necessary information for creditworthiness assessment, entering data into an electronic system, and ensuring compliance with current regulations and guidelines. The professional will also communicate with clients and loan officers to ensure timely processing of loan applications and provide support throughout the loan processing cycle.

Processing Professional Responsibilities Include

Reviewing loan packages to ensure all documents are signed and dated properly.

Ensuring the recording of legal documents, such as mortgage and trust deeds.

Managing and resolving any exceptions noted during the post-closing review process.

Coordinating with title companies, attorneys, and county offices as needed to correct discrepancies.

Preparing and submitting final loan documents to the investor in a timely manner.

Conducting final audits of the loan file before shipment to ensure compliance with investor requirements.

Monitoring and updating the status of loans in the servicing system, including transfers of servicing rights if applicable.

Assisting in the resolution of customer service issues and inquiries that arise after closing.

Qualifications

Experience in Mortgage Loan Processing, including post-closing activities, with a deep understanding of current regulations and guidelines.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle post-closing communications with various stakeholders.

Strong organizational and time management skills to manage post-closing tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in using mortgage software applications such as Encompass and Calyx Point, with specific knowledge in post-closing functionalities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines, especially critical in the post-closing phase.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy, crucial for both processing and post-closing audits.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially important for coordinating post-closing activities
