At the heart of this vision lies the establishment of a dynamic new sub-division within Infomatics— the Design Innovation Lab. Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and forward-thinking React JS Developer to join our Design Innovation Lab at Infomatics. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a modern, agile environment. You will play a pivotal role in using modern front-end technologies to develop highly refined UI components driven by a well-defined & consistent design system— which will invariably shape the future of our company. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain front-end features using React JS and Next JS 13 (App Router). Utilize APIs developed by our backend team or even 3rd party APIs to fetch and manage data, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Demonstrate proficiency in SQL databases, despite the primary focus on front-end development. Work closely with UI/UX designers in the team to implement design specifications and maintain design consistency. Contribute to the development of a robust design system and utilizing Storybook for UI component documentation and testing. Eventually, provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed. Non-negotiable Requirements: 3+ years of experience in React JS development. Strong proficiency in Next JS 13, with a deep understanding of the new App Router architecture. Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and a keen eye for design detail. Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality interfaces and maintain design standards, while also writing code that is clean, DRY & performant. (We want to see some examples of work on this front) Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Other Requirements Extensive experience working with APIs and fetching data. Absolute comfort working with SQL databases. Familiarity with Node.js is a plus. Experience creating NPM packages and working with Storybook for UI component management. Hiring Process: CV review and shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates will receive a small development test/assignment. Assignments will be reviewed, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for the first interview round. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a second interview round. Offers will be made to successful candidates.
