We are looking for someone with the following qualities: ● 3-5 years of experience in software product design. Working with B2B products is an additional advantage ● An obsession to create intuitive and beautiful products and experiences. We will require a portfolio of work to judge this. But don’t worry, we won’t judge your designer OCD. ● An expert at your craft. This means you can endlessly argue about the relative merits of Figma, Sketch, and XD and why one design pattern is better than another for a product. ● A collaborative team player who can work well with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that everyone is aligned with the design vision. ● You should have shipped products and if they have done well you should know why. But if they have not done well, we expect you to be able to lecture people on how to avoid the pitfalls ● You're not just a designer; you're a storyteller. Your ability to articulate design concepts and decisions is paramount. ● Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is your forte. You're comfortable with change and can pivot with ease. Here’s what you will do in this role: ● Work with stakeholders to solve customer problems and navigate product discovery stages while closely working with CX and product teams. ● Creating fantastic products by obsessing about the ‘Why’ and backing it up with a solid understanding of user needs and behavior. ● Executing visual design that is not just polished, consistent and intuitive but at the same time factors in delight. ● Rapidly explore ideas and complex interactions through prototypes and test your hypothesis with users using a variety of methodologies. ● Coaching and mentoring more junior designers on the team in craft and development of key hard and soft skills.Job tags
